About Us
TIMESS Ltd Ear care services offers removal of wax and discharge from the ear by suction with the aid of the microscope also called Microsuction.
Microsuction is the ‘gold standard’ for removing wax, debri or discharge from the ears. It is safe and generally painless, though there may be a temporally discomfort, irritation, muffled hearing and dizziness. These clear within minutes of finishing he procedure. Sometimes, where the patient is moving their head unpredictably, the canal can be traumatized and bleed or the tympanic membrane can be perforated. These are very rare occurrences.
There may be no need to soften the wax with drops over a Period of time prior to having the procedure carried out.
The service is provided by Mr Moses A. Yaor, MBBS, DLO, FRCSEd. A qualified ENT Doctor with over 20 years ENT practice in the NHS in many Hospitals across the country. He was Locum Consultant in ENT for one year, 2015 – 2016 at University Hospital Of South Manchester, Wythenshawe Hospital.
Clients can therefore be confident of the service they will receive at the centre. They can also be advised regarding other ENT conditions as necessary. Where appropriate clients can be recommended for referral to ENT departments by their GPs.
Clients who have discharging ears due to Otitis Externa can be treated as well as people with known perforations or Mastoid cavities.
